Kenneth's Hair Salons and Day Spas is currently sponsoring fully paid scholarships to The Spa School, located at 505 North High Street in Columbus, for those wishing to become licensed nail technicians and work with our company.  

Candidates must apply for the scholarship and go through an interview process to be selected.  As a stipulation of receiving the scholarship, an employment commitment of at least two years is required.  Candidates must have open availability for full-time employment at any of Kenneth's nail spa locations: Kingsdale, Mill Run, New Albany, Polaris, and Taylor Square.  The estimated start date of the nail education program will be January 9, 2012 and takes approximately four weeks to complete, at which time employment with Kenneth's will begin.  Scholarship recipients must maintain standards during the education process, such as attendance and good performance.

Nail technicians at Kenneth's are responsible for providing manicures, pedicures, acrylics and gel services to clients, as well as assessing the condition of a client's hands and feet.  Knowledge required includes excellent customer service skills, sales and marketing, and English language.  Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED.  Nail technicians will follow Kenneth's standards for client services and must maintain certain goals.
